The Story of the Healing Prayer Card:  While in hospital ministry, newly ordained Fr. Hess prayed with the sick, using words that spontaneously came to mind.  When he transferred into a high school, he had the prayer recorded and printed so he wouldn’t forget it.  That was May of 1980.

Today approx. 10,000 prayer cards are requested each month from all 50 states in the U.S., and from Canada, Ireland, Nigeria, Japan, and worldwide locations.  Requests from Mexico, Puerto Rico and Bolivia necessitated translation to Spanish (blue card).  The many testimonies and healings confirm God’s blessing to those who pray it.  “I only printed it so I wouldn’t forget it.”  God showed that He had other plans.

With the passing of Fr. Hess back in Feb. 2014, his family has taken on the role of sending out the prayer cards to keep his memory and ministry alive and on-going.

The requested minimum donation is $2 for every 10 cards (in multiples of 10), or $10 for 100 cards that covers printing and shipping costs, and you can order amounts from any of the different types to equal 100 cards, or from smaller amounts as well. We also give away cards to nursing homes, hospitals, and especially children’s hospitals as they were very important to my uncle, with any extra donations received.

There are 3 kinds of cards that can be ordered (all with the same prayer):

1.) Yellow cards – to be prayed by the person that is sick (referencing me, I, and myself)

2.) Green cards – to be prayed by family and friends for or over someone that is sick & that changes the tenses to pray for him/her or a specific name (N), etc

3.) Blue cards – that are printed in Spanish & are for the sick person as well

To help cover the cost of printing and shipping the Holy Cards, we ask a small donation with your order.  This donation also helps with providing free cards to nursing homes, hospitals and children’s hospital ministry.
